subsequent plans

Falling away

from responsibility

No energy to sustain

demand

or care

And yet, who am I

without those feelings

and subsequent plans?

 

 

 

There are far too many speechless people --

whether blessedly silent or obnoxiously loud --

bumbling through all their days

with nothing to say.

People with insistant voices crying

to speak through us

just accept that speech is our job,

however that speech expresses.

 

 

 

Conservative politicians

seem to believe Americans

want their profit/greed based worldview

to prevail.

They don't seem to be clued in

that this philosophy's support is from

some of the 1% (so a vanishing small

proportion of the nation) and some

of the less intelligent of the vast majority

who they can convince with their

high-priced propaganda.
