People like to do what we perceive

we are good at – it gives us pleasurable

feelings of self love.

We like to feel we are helping others

-- giving those pleasures of

happy with me.

When we can find we are good at work

that we can see helps others, the

good feelings can make up for quite

a bit of lack and discomfort.

 

 

 

When we can’t count on anybody

to act honorably,

how can we progress?

 

 

 

If we want to benefit from society,

we ought be willing to take on

its responsibilities.

 

 

 

 

schools, for the most part, are

about socialization, teaching the young

how to fit in, and are bad for the healthy

growth of individuals who don't really

belong in that environment

 

 

 

we default -- bad for Biden/Dems

and of course no more public spending

and very helpful to a New American

insurgency

 

 

silly little thing called the filibuster

makes the Senate minority in control

despite what looks like Democrat dominance

 

 

 

 

Against my better judgment

(which seems to have left me in the lurch),

I am going to tell you a hard truth. 

I spent a large portion of my life wishing

I had been aborted so that I would not have

to suffer my existence.  If I felt that way,

I'm sure others do as well.  So many people

have had it so much worse than I have. 

Not abortion for birth control, but for death control,

early suicide prevention. 

Have you seen the statistics?  I may yet be one. 

Not to go into gory details, but I can tell you

that I have no fear of Hell.

 

And right to Hell you'll be going,

you baby murderer!

 

Hey, aren't you supposed to tell me

something like to take the love of the Lord

Jesus into my heart to ease my suffering?

admit it:  we ALL have abilities and

disabilities, skills and boundaries, aptitudes

and attitudes and foibles.  We also have a

huge diversity of work needing doing for our

common betterment.  How about back in schools

we learn more about that diversity of work and

the diversity of workers to get it done, and

how each of us can best partake?

 

 

 

 

it occurs to me that what we are bemoaning

as divisiveness, misogyny and other hate-isms,

is really just a culture of abject rudeness,

people who apparently never were appropriately

taught to mind our manners, to behave well in public.

 

 

 

Memory, more like dreaming

In that time, those places, with

different context.

Here I see me, there,

enacting those traumas,

dramas, comedies,

sensing out themes and meanings.

 

 

 

 

I have known that sweet need

to retaliate, to find clever words

in hope of hurting dangerous people

who scream for violence,

hatefully emote with no boundaries

of decency.

But is this tit for tat outrage

the best use of my energy if my

goal is to overshadow, defeat

the darkness, the inhumanity we

are somehow heir to?

I need to believe we are all essentially

pro-life in the sense of species

survival, enough to on balance create sanity.

Tell me that story again.  Remind me why.

 we are all each struggling people,

whatever be our burdens in working

out our time, our lives

 

why do we not each see the different

yous and mes in this struggle together,

each our precious story to share for

mutual enjoyment, to help uplift

our time, our lives?

 

 

 

 

You don't think the child will pay? 

People abort for real reasons. 

My concern is for the children who will

grow up without -- material and emotional

and even spiritual. 

Everyone wants to punish women for having

reproductive pleasure (so assumed). 

It is the children who always really pay. 

Stop feeling so smug that you are somehow

saving them.

I get peeved with these virulent anti-Covid

vaccine folks who like to tell me I'm giving in

to government propaganda, as if they aren't talking

pointing from their own preferred reps.  I do not trust

modern medicine, very rarely see a medical professional,

almost never take a pharmaceutical, don't get regular vaccines. 

This Covid thing is different. 

I got fully vaccinated when I could and will gladly take

any booster until these deathsquad idiots die out or we

otherwise overcome not just another disease, but a deadly

pandemic that is making a mockery of our medical resources

and not merely killing who is killed, but creating long

lasting disabilities and even more possible

tragedies down the line.

 

 

 

 

we may aspire to perfection while knowing

it is not our goal -- our goal must be getting

the work done we need to do for our

mutual future to be worthwhile

 

 

 

It’s not that you don’t understand.

You don’t want to understand

the evil that comes so easily

from Man.

None of it makes any sense

because it’s not based on reality

It’s not all up to government.

You don’t want too much top down

control?  Take back our power to

improve our world.

Not vigilante hate, law obstructing

rights.  Vigilante care providing,

to help us all be well, have what we need.

 

 

 

all these fanatics shouting "freedom"

as their reason to restrict the common liberty

 

 

 

 

voodoo economics cast a wicked spell

 

 

 

 

for some kind of advantage those who frame

social utility have made us believe we need to

fit in or stand out, rather than figure out how

to best express our each unique self.
