turning into rock
turning into a
mountain
abiding
enduring
no longer wandering that rocky
road
density, quiet destiny
amalgamating, eroding
knowing only
Earth and sky

because it’s isn’t Trump, it’s us
and not just US, the human race
no wonder we want to split ourselves
into mythical “races” as scapegoats,
