Demonic evil, Heroic deeds

Saintly dedication

Marching, firing, binding with 

Loving Kindness to righteously

heal

Millennia embroidered in dark

and light, eternal tapestry

upon a field of stars

Is this who we truly are?

Working through our stories

that collectively create this vast

anthology, dramatic history

to amaze and entertain, perhaps

to learn in service more vibrancy,

more joy, exuberant connecting.

Government by politicians who

represent angry minorities

What are the regular people

to do?

All this loneliness

Each in our bubble

screaming silently of blame

So sad -- isolate seas of tears

Less love, less sensory input,

Less ease into bonding

human touch, affirming hugs,

reasons for hanging on.

Do you have an answer

to the bleeding out?

Is it about creating a world

of meaning we can join?

Most of us just want

to live our lives

though sometimes we may abhor

what we are going through

We realize it's the cost of living.

Most of us have no desire to

endure disruptions of war.
