The coup is not from the balancing branch

The coup is coming from inside the Whitehouse

The undergirding quid pro quo (tit for tat, Bribery,

Extortion) is between Trump and Putin

Delaying defense funds to Ukraine allows

Russian encroachment, and further incursions

into Europe.  Extortion to trump up investigations

(or at least announcements of investigations)

against Trump’s rivals furthers the interests of Trump

and Putin.

Call it:  attempted Bribery and Treason and other high

Crimes and Misdemeanors to aid and abet their

“drug deal” and the whole drug dealing conspiracy.

 

 

Perhaps what we fail to grasp is that in fact

this sect of Trump faithful do believe

that everybody cheats, bribes, does anything

they can to gain advantage.

Trump is rightfully thus, using the power

he has amassed to command for his own benefit,

as would we all with such opportunity.

They admire him for it.

 

Isn’t that the way we are culturally raised

in this nation of capitalism, materialism --

any means to succeed?

 

 

Why do they want us (strangers) to suffer?

 

 

Not our default, hard wired into our DNA,

but hate feels so good because of what

is done to us, how we are raised,

anger held close to grow to rage

so hate explodes – so grand a feeling.

 

 

Do not deny your anger

Rage creatively within safe boundaries

Face your opposition calmly

Explain values, foundations, bases

of your current point of view

Don’t lose your case through argument

disarrayed in anger

Communicate in clarity

 

 

Lazy, crazy Americans

working to divide, deride, diminish

to create thems to blame for our misfortunes

rather than unite to work together

to make all of our lives better.

Feel that shame and let it go

to rebalance our pent up energies

to give to that work we need to do.
