losing our selves

When we categorize ourselves
and each other
we risk losing our selves

The type of personality that demands
continual amassing has different precepts,
codes, values from those generally
considered “good” “humane”
Attempting to shame, or bring about
a higher consciousness can have no effect
when the language barrier so vastly
separates

The Liberals, for all their panty-clutching
cowardice, are so much better than the
Righteous, who absolutely NEED to rule
other people’s lives, make everyone as
miserable as they, so they can feel
justified in their misery.

Dems, try the same strategies being used
by successful candidates of talking directly
to the people about what concerns them,
being an actual advocate, understanding
what is needed by your district and acting
accordingly, encouraging volunteers from
all areas, getting the word  out LOUD

We are clueless, undereducated, unable to
understand the implications of our choices
because our so-called democracy is played
like a sport, not taken seriously as the backbone
of the society in which our lives take place.
Obviously, what is needed is education of the
kind busy people will take to, endless
anti-propaganda that is spread as more people
learn enough to make that our background.

socialism is pretty much a trigger term,
not a real here and now to usefully react to --
it gets to be, like a Humpty Dumpty word,
whatever the speaker assumes.  The definition
people with a conscience tend to lean toward
is about people being more important than profit. --
The essentially humane view that actual living
beings have more intrinsic value than made up
constructs to allow for some to grab and hoard
what were common resources.

isms are human constructs, often based more
on ideological theory than real world practice
why not reverse for usefulness -- figure out what
gives people the best possible lives, and do that
