Rights are not inherent.  Rights are granted by

one’s social order and require the responsibility

of one’s co-patriots to honor.  Rights are a

social contract, impossible to own. 

 

 

How much of our current outraged

insanity comes down from Reagan’s

deinstitutionalization without appropriate

treatment options policy?

so desperately as if hatred were what we

believe we deserve -- how is that humanity,

If we get rid of the bullies,

the rest of us can figure it out --

could it be that the anti-vax crowd is

hoping/planning that the mutations

will overcome the vaccines for their

self-fulfilling prophecies?

 

 

 

seems to me most gun control issues

are stupidity issues -- the stupidity of thinking

it so much more important to have unfettered

access to firearms of any type than to put

reasonable safety policies in effect.

 

 

 

 

News in the background, I was just

randomly reminiscing and realized

when I was growing up, learning how

the world works, my knowledge of "race"

was that people designated "Negro" were

far too often horrendously and unjustly treated

because of ignorant prejudices sent down

from the Civil War.  These injustices were

obviously in need of righting.  People do not deserve

bad treatment, bullying, being murdered, being

unjustly imprisoned, because some other people

who happen to have the power feel like being

monsters.  This is the basis of my understanding,

and of the people I have been close to or worked

with politically.  How is it not the understanding

of us all?

(and others') lives that the virus might thrive

 

 

 

 

I get it!  It’s that vile guilt for

bringing children into this horrid world

you have not made better, or

children you did not want, didn’t

properly care for, made suffer for your

faults.  You need a creed to dissuade

that guilt.  To make it not you who could

have prevented that suffering but didn’t.

Abortion must be such a heinous sin,

impossible to contemplate.

And if it is such a sin, we can not

countenance it in our milieu.  It must be

clearly the kind of sin we call crime.

 

 

 

Don’t bother me with your anti-vax

rationales.  I have no desire to interfere

with your suicide.

 

 

 

That normalization trance

doesn’t work on you.

And you desperately want to

know how to make it.

In this time when we can’t trust what

we’re told/shown, we each have the

responsibility for our own reality.

Choose well.

 

 

 

Your people, their people – I have no

people, no ancestral family or home.

There are most likely more of we who

have no foundation of enmity to weigh

us down than people stuck on such

fantasies that drain their potential lives.

 

 

 

Caught up in the drama of vaccination

and other Covid issues?

Not to worry.

Soon enough accelerating ravages of

Climate Change will destroy us all.

 

 

 

Perhaps it isn’t selfishness or greed,

but early now subconscious scripts of

shame that form a sort of trance necessity

to achieve a specific kind of success.

It would be natural to feel antipathy toward

competitors, but we all understand that is

part of our challenge.  Much more must they

hate people with different values, who are not,

therefore, bound up in the game except

the ways they devise to entrap, to punish them

for their noncompliance.

 

What brings people to blindly give up their lives to others' ambitions? Political

parties were not  meant to be part of this

nation. We were meant to rule ourselves

through discussion, debate, common enterprise

for common good as active citizens. Did we get

too lazy, too overwhelmed, too busy, too

undereducated, too apathetic, too ill?

 

 

 

Apocalyptic thinking:  We’re all gonna die --

so go out enacting your fantasy.

 

 

 

Is the point to feel superior, or gain support?

 

 

 

 

Doesn't anybody get that our government

isn't them, but us. Of course since we insist

on being adversarial rather than corrective

we abdicate our rule to them.

You have all these desires from our social network

(society) -- so get out there and insist on them

by doing the actual work.

 

 

 

It has occurred to me that all these 

paranoidconspiracy ideas we circulate, 

even if there is some truth to them, is 

 horribly counterproductive to having the 

world we say we want when we decry 

"conspiracies" "government" "media" -- big 

bad powers we can't fight so why fight so 

don't blame me, there's nothing I can do.

Not enough truth and perspective in the news? 

Put it there -- if not little unskilled you, get 

together with others, our own conspiracy for 

truth, justice, Earth, us.  If your elected 

 government does not adequately represent you, 

support representatives who do, even run

for office or get involved with campaigns for 

your issues, and keep those letters, phone calls, 

letters to the editors, speeches in public forums, 

 whatever art you can create, whatever friendship 

chains you can be part of (and a sideeffect of 

destroying the curse of loneliness) – complaining

doesn't make the changes we want to see, 

actual work does.

 

 

 

it is terrible how often kids get yelled at instead of

clearly and compassionately explained to, made to

feel bad rather than getting educated

 

 

 

 

They say "two Americas.  (I say probably more like 

300 million Americas.)But, yeah, legacy of the Civil 

War, the Great Secession, not because they're racist 

-- it's much deeper. 

They are anti-nationalist, anti-social  -- why they 

choose to live in sparsely populated rural places and 

speak ill of city folks. 

They would so much rather destroy us all, secede, 

break away, than figure out how to be a part of a 

world beyond their control.

do your own research doesn't mean

finding some group or self-styled expert

who convinces you they think like you do;

it means finding experts that not so much

agree with you as make sense and are backed

by the general understandings of the field

and other experts who can clearly explain

the principles and procedures involved, and

learning what you can about the subject matter

so you can have an informed opinion.

 

 

 

 

people who believe it important to be

not humans but some label we are

conditioned to love or hate use this myth

of race created by people who were horrified

by their own behaviors against others to give

an excuse. The myth has seemed useful since

to continue such divisive excusing of

horrendous behavior.

 

 

 

 

There seem to be too many people who

regard themselves as arbiters of the social

morality with no qualifications other than

their own boredom and self appointment.

 

 

 

Of the wrong dimensions

to fit into normative reality --

perhaps theirs ought to be

expanded.

 

 

 

You can’t legitimately call the wealth

yours when it was created by exploited

employees, mutated slavery.

 

 

 

It’s not about gay or straight or gender queer.

It’s about who attracts so you’re obsessed

with need to feel completely.

Labels distract from the real, distance from

our yearning for connection, subtract from

how happy we could be.

 

 

 

I am not as good as, better than, less than,

anyone, because I have no idea what the

criteria are.

 

 

 

AntiRacism by denying the evil myth called “race”

 

 

 

Calling people out for some angry “ist”

which encompasses a vast array of

possible behaviors?  Call people out for

their actual horrendous actions,

unacceptable from any.

 

 

 

I get it.  We each have our salient issues.

I respect that.

I have issues of my own.
