Humanity does not want to be saved*

time for US citizens to take back our nation

the reason our politicians depend on 

money to win elections is that we don’t 

bother to do our own actual research, even 

with the ‘net providing so much content

People's posts and comments on social

 media lead me to think that most Americans 

do not understand democracy or our part 

in it.  So many derogatory opinions on 

Congress ceding their power to the President.  

Yet, for far too long, so it has become 

the norm, The People have ceded our power 

to Political Parties -- private groups 

with their own agenda, rather than doing 

democracy -- self-rule.  We accept that the 

major role of the candidate is to procure 

large funding to buy our attention.  

Today, with the internet, we have the ability 

to find out who these people are asking 

to represent us basically for free, to 

engage with each other to learn more 

about issuesand proposed solutions, and 

whatever background knowledge might 

help with our ability to better rule our nation.

people, including in Senate, are becoming 

less pro-Trump as he is ruining the economy, 

foreign affairs, and American cities with huge 

citizen uproar

For this limited time, if enough people 

demanded his impeachment from their reps/Senators, 

it would give them the excuse to act

absurdity, thy name is money

Not a person, not a life of any kind

But a concept, a holding place for valuation 

only about hours, skills, resources traded

No need even for physicality or specific form

No substitute for real human warmth

So much in my life makes no sense to me

I realized, that's because, objectively,

they make no sense.

People, and our random

understandings,

habit acceptance,

ever accreting.

Humanity does not want to be saved.

Humanity wants to go to Hell

And complain about the flames.

Posts on social media lead me to conclude

that most Americans  don't get democracy,

or our part in it.

So many complaints about how Congress

cedes its power to the President.

Yet, we have for far too long ceded our

power to political parties, till it seems we

believe that is how it is meant to be.

Our self-rule owes no allegiance to

private groups with their own agenda.

Democracy is rule by The People,

through dialog, compromise, persuasive

argument, by agreeing to figure out

our issues together.

Christians must actually be

atheists, or they would be terrified

about God's retaliation for their

lying in His Name.

Yes, the situation in Gaza is and has for long

been horrendous.  And, there are horrendous

situations all over the world.  Most we hear

less to nothing about.  People can be so

evil, so wantonly destructive -- look how

we destroy our planet and its other lives.

Funny, though, that the blaring issue is

outrage against, not Netanyahu, the

arrogant, unflinching perp, gleeful to

kill, maim, add ever increasing misery.

No, our outrage objects to the US

Democrats, especially Biden/Harris,

Trump's nemeses.  As if 47 wants

anything better for Gazans, or nonMAGA

Americans, or anyone he sees as lesser,

or a threat.T

Oh, so saintly Progressives, are you

happy with what your misguided attempts

have brought? Attempts rarely directly,

usefully targeted, have given no relief

to beleaguered people, rather have led

to greater destruction, murder, misery

throughout the world.

If you really needed to flip off Biden,

why didn't you find an obviously

better choice, primary him?

 To be more effective, where is

your huge and growing campaign

against pro-Israel lobbyists?

Americans too often erroneously
