This is the stage of dreaming

I have issues with this monolithic view of Democrats

 -- we all know there are many truly for The People 

with positions as Democrats, even if some are mostly 

useless (happens everywhere, you know -- 

imperfection they name is human)

how many US Constitution Amendments

(passed by The People and our Congress) 

are the Trumpees stomping over?  

1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 10th, 14th, 15th 

probably 19th soon ...

the little victories of getting through

any random day

Are we really allowing our childre

to grow up seeing these people

as normal?

You voted (or declined to vote)

against genocide?

Is that what you think you did?

You must be so proud.

You voted to bring the terror home,

without doing the rest of the world

any good. To help make America

a terrorist organization of death and

destruction, at home and abroad --

shame on you.

When economic opportunities are

difficult to find, we can band together

with like challenged neighbors for

mutual support.

Money acts as a means to separate

from other people, a distancer 

within which to nurture entitlement,

loneliness, supercilious hatred.

Terrorizing, kidnapping, incarcerating,

exiling good neighbors, good workers,

good people, while freeing vicious 

criminals encouraged to plunder

What has your life been?

What have they done to you,

to create such monstrous desires,

inner death and deadliness?

Depression, pain, turned outward;

brutality become a natural shield.

It's just a nasty game of

whack-a-mole government

sponsored terrorism

until we get rid of Trump

No shining in the public spotlight

No famous name

No bio-docs nor journalistic

opinion pieces

Ever engulfed in responsibilities

Too busy to bother with being

known.

You say you want democracy

Are you willing to work for it?

Are you willing to fight for it?

Are you willing to die for it?

Even worse:  Are you willing

to come together,

to be The People?

We say kids are being adversely

affected by these substances or

experiences.  I want to ask:

Why do these kids feel compelled

to get caught up in these harmful

activities?

What are the great experiences

kids could enjoy to their benefit?

Where are the people, the

relationships they can feel a

joyful part of, they can depend on

to help them get what they need

to thrive?

Celebration, commemoration,

welcoming the resurrection of our

life-giving Sun, as it warms our

consciousness, gives rise to reveries

of far off harvest.  We visualize

stages along the way, to create

a future of prosperity.

This is the stage of dreaming.

It's people like you who have

given us this sad world --

refusing to work for solutions,

rather putting your energy into

discouraging those who do

Living a fairly simple life

most of it in my own mind, anyway,

which, at least for now, 

is freely mine

We all know these things.
They are written in our moral codes
They are exhorted in our politicians' speeches
They are preached in our religious sermons
They are part of who we are

Apparently, oh so saliently, we as well
(as unwell, as insane) are violent
madmen, intent on harm that ripples
back to harden hearts, unhumanize,
unharmonize what could have been
our euphorious song.

We know these things, yet seem
to always get it wrong.
Is that how we're meant to be, to
behave, to twist ourselves in cycles
of depravity, of have/have nots,
commoners and kings, that we lose
our lives to battle?
None of this makes sense.

We know these things.
We pour them out in stories, poems,
sculptures, public meetings.
Perhaps such ambiance leaves us
deaf to what everybody knows.
Perhaps the calls to outrage overtake
what reason, intuition, healing lore 
all demand will create our better
destiny.

Humanity does not want to be saved*

time for US citizens to take back our nation

the reason our politicians depend on 

money to win elections is that we don’t 

bother to do our own actual research, even 

with the ‘net providing so much content

People's posts and comments on social

 media lead me to think that most Americans 

do not understand democracy or our part 

in it.  So many derogatory opinions on 

Congress ceding their power to the President.  

Yet, for far too long, so it has become 

the norm, The People have ceded our power 

to Political Parties -- private groups 

with their own agenda, rather than doing 

democracy -- self-rule.  We accept that the 

major role of the candidate is to procure 

large funding to buy our attention.  

Today, with the internet, we have the ability 

to find out who these people are asking 

to represent us basically for free, to 

engage with each other to learn more 

about issuesand proposed solutions, and 

whatever background knowledge might 

help with our ability to better rule our nation.

less pro-Trump as he is ruining the economy, 

foreign affairs, and American cities with huge 

citizen uproar

For this limited time, if enough people 

demanded his impeachment from their reps/Senators, 

it would give them the excuse to act

absurdity, thy name is money

Not a person, not a life of any kind

But a concept, a holding place for valuation 

only about hours, skills, resources traded

No need even for physicality or specific form

No substitute for real human warmth

So much in my life makes no sense to me

I realized, that's because, objectively,

they make no sense.

People, and our random

understandings,

habit acceptance,

ever accreting.

Humanity does not want to be saved.

Humanity wants to go to Hell

And complain about the flames.

Posts on social media lead me to conclude

that most Americans  don't get democracy,

or our part in it.

So many complaints about how Congress

cedes its power to the President.

Yet, we have for far too long ceded our

power to political parties, till it seems we

believe that is how it is meant to be.

Our self-rule owes no allegiance to

private groups with their own agenda.

Democracy is rule by The People,

through dialog, compromise, persuasive

argument, by agreeing to figure out

our issues together.

Christians must actually be

atheists, or they would be terrified

about God's retaliation for their

Yes, the situation in Gaza is and has for long

less to nothing about.  People can be so

evil, so wantonly destructive -- look how

we destroy our planet and its other lives.

the sadness of heroes

 
I am ignorant
Ignorant of how to bring listeners
for my urgent pleas
to be heard.
This insanity we self-name humanity,
separating origin stories that haunt
childhood dreams, that assume
superiority, license to destiny,
to make of Eden our living Hell.
Too ridiculous, horrific, to let
such reality be believed.
Yet, my message seeks not blame,
but restoration, the beauty, the
path we might have taken,
still could, if we would but allow
that consciousness.
The pressure to desist from expressing
these grievous disappointments,
dripping pain layered through my
experience, becomes too intense.
I can learn to quietly inside and out
fall away from the fray.
Why subject myself to such devaluation?


Our lives are subject to the whims
of the powerful.
The question presents: can we become
our own authors, our own heroes,
subjects of our own world?


Yes, they can meet to represent you.
But that presupposes you are doing
your part in the work of self-rule.

The future appears unlivable,
because people
Lazy, weak, unwilling to be aware
In truth, it is unfair to ask for more.
Our nature no longer guides who
we are -- pushed and pulled into
directionless motivations.
Shining promises, fairy dust.
Still, a brightness so alluring.
Of course we can't be trusted based
on loyalties,
Invectives, imperfections, all must
be expected to impure possibilities,
built bit by leap, at such a cost.
Better to complain of what we've
lost, assign blame with disdainful
frost than shamefully admit that
the cost was too high, the recompense
too low. Easier to go with some common
flow, not of our Creation.


It's a different world
Not the one I signed up for,
or was educated to expect


The fierce, fragile urgency
of this moment


Bit by bit
dripping into
a tipping point


Some amalgamation of
heredity and society
and this self we're told
lives in a reflective world
of free will.


People who become important,
idolic roles portrayed upon
a world stage
What do we, mere mortal audience,
take from who they truly are,
snip and sort to fit reward categories?


Going along half-heartedly, as too
many have become accustomed

I'm just trying to get Americans
to take back our democray,
something I clearly cannot do
on my own, or we wouldn't be

I would like to talk a bit about being moderate
Not good; but not actually bad
We know it could be so much worse,

But we don't have to hate it
Rather work with it as far as we can 


what we need are people (more than a few) 
willing and active to do what will make a real 
difference, to take back our democracy after 
these decades of abdication
I mean, contact your reps and demand Trump's 
impeachment is so easy, why the resistance?




I am offering a simple, easy action that,
if enough people took part, could succeed
But then, the reason we are in this mess
is that enough people couldn't be
bothered with democracy


why do we even want or need these files -- we already 
know the gist 
every time what he has done is worse than expected, 
yet his base loves him more, for legitimizing their meanness
what we really want is him gone, so go for that directly


we tend to get what we demand
not what we're owed



 if you have an action easier, simpler, safer, 
bringing people together as a force to be reckoned 
with, at a special time when midterms are on the minds 
of the reps up for re-election (all of the House of 
Representatives and a large group of Senators), while 
the world is up in arms against Trump in so many ways, 
for so many reasons, 
when the economy is getting ever worse ...
than do that too



there is a greater than zero chance right now 
because midterms for all House members and 
some Senators, who will be concerned about 
primaries, while the sentiment against the Trump 
regime is growing more strongly negative — some 
GOP Congress people are starting to speak out 
against specific issues — all over the world
and  a movement of concerned citizens like this 
can grow as a force going forward
far from wasting any time, this can be done quickly, 
easily, with little energy expended, while those 
concerned also do whatever else seems useful



this is a very special time when midterms will 
change the Congress, and primaries can scare 
those who want to stay in office
while
there is unprecedented rage against the 
administration, growing throughout the world
thus, for this limited NOW this is a tactic 
that could work
also, getting this vast network of people to cry 
out as one for this so necessary impeachment 
helps to create that force going forward
